Status / update on DGM (F) promotions (26/09/2017):

It is reliably learnt that the Director (HR)/(Finance), BSNL Board has approved the promotion and posting orders in respect of 66 CAOs to DGM (F) Adhoc promotions.

Orders are likely to be released today itself.

Associations and Unions of BSNL, Tamilnadu Circle, we met Shri.Manoj Sinhaji, Honourable Minister for Communications

On behalf of the Associations and Unions of BSNL, Tamilnadu Circle, Office bearers met Shri.Manoj Sinhaji, Honourable Minister for Communications during his official visit to RGM TTC Chennai for inaugurating “Swatch Bharath” programme and submitted a memorandum on “Implementation of 3rd PRC in BSNL with 15% fitment benefit” and “Formation of Subsidiary Tower Company” 

1. On PRC issue, he appreciated our concern and assured to settle in the interest of employees of BSNL. At the same time he advised to increase the revenue in BSNL so as to get more benefits.

2. On the other issue, he clarified the proposed Tower Company is a part of business activity and will be fully owned by BSNL and assured that the same will not be privatized at least till he is assuming the office. However we requested to have discussions with the Associations and Unions to clear the apprehension in the minds of the employees.
